Overview
NON-SURGICAL SPORTS MEDICINE- MD
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose and treat acute and chronic pain and other sports medicine concerns with both medical and interventional modalities.
- Assess patient health through interviews, physical examinations and X-ray & MRI imaging.
- Perform joint injections.
- Supervise medical staff.
- Communicate information about diagnosis and treatment protocols to patients and set clear treatment goals and expectations.
Requirements:
- Experience in joint and soft tissue injection.
- Experience in at least one of sports medicine, orthopedic surgery, physical medicine & rehabilitation, ER/Urgent care, anesthesiology.
- Ability to read and interpret X-ray and MRI images.
- Ability to prescribe various medications, and carry out non-surgical treatment
- Thorough knowledge of disease and injury diagnostics
- In-depth understanding of sports culture and practices
- Passion for and eagerness to work in the field of regenerative medicine.

Our practice offers the full scope of sports medicine services to patients of all ages from high school athletes to weekend warriors to super seniors. We specialize in advanced treatments like ultrasound-guided injections, PRP, and shockwave therapy. Our sports medicine services benefit from shared space with an orthopedic department, a rehabilitative therapies department, and convenient access to labs and imaging.
APD has been providing Primary Care Services to the community for over 40 years. We moved into our new Multi-Specialty Clinic in 2017. Our Multi-Specialty Clinic team delivers personalized care to patients in a convenient, efficient, and welcoming space. All of the outpatient support they need—from doctor visits to labs and imaging to therapies—is under one roof in a building designed around our patients.
The clinic features:

• Embedded Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT).

• EPIC EMR system wholly integrated with Dartmouth Health.

Responsibilities
Qualifications
* Ability to obtain an unrestricted NH Medical License Required
* Current DEA license Required
* BLS Certification Required
* Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedics, Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine or Pain Management/ Physiatry. If Board Eligible, must be actively working toward Board Certification.
* Completion of a Sports Medicine fellowship.
* Demonstrated Competence in providing sports medicine services
