• Senior HVAC Technician

    M3 Services (New Orleans, LA)


    REQUIREMENTS:

    5 Years of HVAC experience required

    • Knowledge of HVAC/R system principles, controls and components

    • Normal color vision Possession of a valid state driver’s license to operate motor vehicles

    • Reliable transportation

    EPA II license a plus, Driver’s license required

    Team management experience a plus.

    Basic Expectations:

    An HVAC Technician, or a Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Technician, installs and repairs various air quality systems.

     

    • Their main duties include locating and diagnosing maintenance problems on equipment, conducting warranty services and quickly performing emergency repairs on certain equipment items.

    • Conducting HVAC energy mitigation protocols to improve energy efficiency for our HVAC clients and utility providers.

    *Manage a Crew of 4 to 8 people.

    **1099 contractor to start for the 3 months. Then eligible for full hire with benefits

    HVAC Technician Duties and Responsibilities:

    HVAC Technicians have several responsibilities. Other common responsibilities for HVAC Technicians include:

     

    • Provide Troubleshooting support

    • Removing old systems

    • Installing new systems

    • Performing routine maintenance

    • Training junior team members

    • Communicating with clients and customers

    • Ordering and maintaining equipment

    • Meeting local HVAC codes

     

    Workweek: Monday- Thursday (typical schedule)

     

    Occasional Travel (Per Diem paid)

    QUALIFICATIONS SUMMARY:

    • MINIMUM EDUCATIONHigh school diploma, GED
