Description

We are looking for a proactive Accounting Specialist to join our client's team in Beaverton, Oregon. This Contract-to-permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and collaborative accounting environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts receivable and accounts payable, along with the flexibility to handle various accounting tasks as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts receivable processes, including updating customer records and generating AR reports.

• Assist with minor collections efforts to ensure timely payments.

• Provide backup support for accounts payable functions as required.

• Handle billing tasks and ensure accuracy in all related processes.

• Participate in account reconciliation activities to maintain financial accuracy.

• Contribute to subsidiary general ledger accounting tasks as assigned.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel to organize data and create reports efficiently.

• Demonstrate a hands-on approach by assisting with various accounting duties as part of a team-oriented culture.

Requirements • Proven experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

• Strong knowledge of billing functions and account reconciliation.

• Familiarity with general accounting principles and practices.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data organization and reporting.

• Ability to adapt to a collaborative work environment and take on diverse tasks.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Effective communication skills to interact with team members and customers.
