FULL TIME POSITION WITH BENEFITS/40 H0URS A WEEK. MUST HAVE VALID, UNRESTRICTED DRIVERS LICENSE AND CLEAN DRIVING RECORD. Responsibilities: * Keep parts department up-to-date on delivery schedule; * Maintain cleanliness of delivery truck; * Obeys all traffic laws and follows established traffic procedures; * Complies with and enforces all safety policies and procedures; * Observe and report customer information, including customer buying habits and competitive intrusion; * Fill customer orders and ready them for delivery; * Verifies the contents of inventory loads against shipping papers; * Load Parts trucks in a safe manner, securing all items in the bed of the truck; * Retrieve parts returns and report them to Parts Manager or responsible Counter Person; * Complete vehicle safety checks per company policy and operates the vehicle within the safety guidelines; * Presents bill and receipts and collects payment for goods delivered or loaded; * Pick up parts and equipment from customers, satellite stores, and vendors. * Follow all delivery and pick-up processes and protocol to ensure compliance and accuracy. Requirements: * High school diploma or equivalent; * Prompt and courteous demeanor; * Valid Driver’s License with Clean Driving record; * Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide; * Excellent customer service skills; * Must be detail oriented; * Strong written and verbal communication skills; * Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed; * Unrestricted driver’s license and clean driving record; * Excellent organizational skills; * Ability to occasionally lift or move 100 pounds from floor to waist with assistance; * Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals; * Proficient computer skills. Ability to use a smart phone or hand-held device; * A valid in-state driver’s license and a good driving record, per company standards.
