    Position: Division Director of Youth Services

    Position Overview

    Are you a visionary leader passionate about shaping the future of youth development? Queens Community House (QCH) is seeking a dynamic Division Director of Youth Services to lead a $9 million portfolio of school-based programs that inspire, educate, and empower young learners across Queens.

    This is more than a leadership role—it’s an opportunity to:

    + Drive meaningful change in communities.

    + Mentor emerging talent and develop future leaders.

    + Collaborate with citywide partners to deliver inclusive, high-impact programming.

     

    As a key member of QCH’s Senior Leadership Team, the Division Director will work closely with the Associate Executive Director of Youth Services, the other Youth Services Division Director, and a team of dedicated professionals to ensure programs reflect excellence, equity, and innovation.

    Key Responsibilities

    Program Leadership

    + Guide a diverse portfolio of youth programs, including:

    + DYCD COMPASS & 21st Century Community Learning Centers-funded OST programs (K–8)

    + DOE-funded Community School programs

    + LGBTQ Teen Services (ages 12–22)

    + Youth Leadership programs (ages 12–18)

    + Oversee development, implementation, and evaluation of school/community-based programs.

    + Use data and feedback to strengthen performance and participant outcomes.

    + Ensure programming supports academic, social, and emotional growth.

    Staff Development & Operations

    + Supervise and coach Multisite Supervisors, Program Directors, and staff.

    + Translate strategic vision into systems that promote accountability and excellence.

    + Oversee operations, staffing, and budget planning across multiple sites.

    + Ensure compliance with funder and contractual requirements.

    Community & Stakeholder Engagement

    + Build strong partnerships with schools, DOE leaders, funders, and community partners.

    + Represent QCH in advocacy, policy, and funding discussions.

    + Support program growth through resource development and strategic engagement.

    + Promote cross-departmental collaboration across QCH programs.

    Qualifications & Experience

    + Master’s degree in Education, Social Work, or related field.

    + Minimum 7 years of leadership experience in youth development, OST, or nonprofit management.

    + Proven success in school-based programming and staff supervision.

    + Experience with NYC DOE, DYCD, DOHMH compliance, and contract management.

    + SACC Director Certification preferred.
