    Crouse’s Addiction Treatment team at Commonwealth provides a comprehensive system of assessment and inpatient treatment services for individuals with substance-use disorders by integrating physical, mental and spiritual healthcare practices for patients and families. The Addiction Treatment team is hiring an Addiction Treatment Counselor/Therapist.

     

    Schedule: Full-Time Days, 8:00am-4:30pm

     

    Pay Range: $24.00 - $27.30 / hour

    Addiction Treatment Counselor/Therapist Position Responsibilities:

    + Performs assessments which include the identification of cultural differences in planning for patient care.

    + Provides person-centered treatment to a diverse patient caseload, including individual and group counseling

    + Incorporates knowledge of evidence-based and promising practices into all facets of interaction with patients.

    + Demonstrates competency in the provision of service.

    + Formulates diagnostic impressions.

    + Determines the appropriate level of care.

    + Provides appropriate referrals for follow-up and facilitates referrals for needed services.

    + Document client notes clearly, concisely and according to policy.

    Addiction Treatment Counselor/Therapist Position Requirements:

    + Associate’s degree in a related field required.

    + 3 years of addiction counseling experience.

    + Years of experience can be substituted with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field.

    + OASAS QHP or CASAC designation required
