The Division of Renal-Electrolyte and Hypertension in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of evaluation and managing kidney transplant patients. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree. Applicants must have additional training and expertise in transplant nephrology.
Teaching responsibilities may include teaching Penn medical students, residents, and fellows. The academic clinician track requires 100 credits per year of active and high-quality teaching responsibilities. Applicants should be outstanding educators.
Clinical responsibilities may include providing clinical care for patients on the inpatient and outpatient services as a transplant nephrologist at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
