    Position Summary

    Information Technology teammates at Bridgestone have a passion for innovation that drives our company forward.     Responsibilities

    + Application development and planning, design, implementation, and management of technology infrastructure or network components

    + Identify and isolate problems and their root causes to design and implement effective solutions

    + Apply interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with fellow teammates and achieve common goals

    + Work in a hands-on environment with cross functional teams

    + Utilize project management skills to develop, manage, and control scope, schedule and cost

    We are looking for students who:

    + Are highly motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision

    + Have a people-centric focus with ability to collaborate with all teammates across the organization

    + Show strong initiative, work ethic and levels of enthusiasm

    + Demonstrate technical aptitude in major of study

    + Practice excellent communication and presentation skills

    Minimum Qualifications

    To thrive in this role, you need…

    + To be pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or another applicable major and be actively enrolled in the degree program at an accredited university

    + To be sophomore-senior level standing with a GPA of at least 3.0

    + To be available to work 40 hours weekly in a 12 week internship assignment in Nashville, TN

    + No other work experience is required. We will teach you everything you need to know!
