    Position Description

    TheDepartment of Sociology (https://www.soci.txst.edu/) seeks to develop a pool of candidates for possible temporary/nontenured faculty to teach. Temporary/nontenured faculty are appointed to teach one to four courses per semester. Teaching appointments are based on student demand on a semester-by-semester basis. Eligibility for annual reappointment is contingent upon satisfactory annual performance evaluations during the term period, in addition to continuity of funding and departmental/school/program needs.

     

    Successful candidates will teach at the Round Rock, TX TXST campus.

     

    Per course adjunct to teach one Introduction to Sociology ( SOCI 1310) course on the Round Rock campus fall 2025.
