This 206,878 square-foot facility, located in the Philadelphia area is Catalent’s global Center of Excellence for Clinical Supply Packaging. Catalent offers GMP secondary packaging and clinical labeling services throughout our global network. Packaging can be configured to hold a single product or multiple products as determined by study requirements. We offer manual patient kit assembly along with semi-automated and automated wallet sealing and high-speed automated carding to meet the needs of studies of all sizes. For temperature sensitive products and those with minimal to zero allowable time out of environment, we can perform secondary packaging in refrigerated and frozen packaging rooms or over dry ice depending upon your project needs. Using our Clinicopia global labeling system with its multi-lingual label phrase library we can design single panel, booklet labels or our unique Peel-ID™ safe storage labels for your studies. Single panel and Peel-ID™ safe storage labels can be conveniently reviewed and approved online via our Fusion portal before being printed and inspected at our facilities.

Catalent Pharma Solutions is Philadelphia, PA is hiring a **Proposal Lead** . The **Proposal Lead** is responsible for project management of the proposal process, including leadership of cross-functional teams to scope opportunities and gain key stakeholder review and approval, as appropriate. The role also includes the pricing, margin analysis and generation of proposals, to deliver quality and on-time Quotations to Clients. This is a permanent, full-time position. It is a salary role. The shift is Monday-Friday 8a-5p. This position is intended to be on site four days per week.

The Role

+ Follows the proposal process and liaises with Project Management, BD, Clients, and Management/Key Stakeholders on the generation of, and pricing for, Quotations/QARs.

+ Facilitates communication between functional areas of the organization (ie. BD, Project Management, Operations, Quality, Finance, etc) to ensure on-time delivery of Quotations / proposals that are accurate and executable in terms of technical scope and meet costing / business margin targets.

+ Works with all Operations functions to determine the most optimal and cost effective development/manufacturing/packaging methods and to request pricing on any additional items to support quotation generation, as needed.

+ Communicates directly with client contacts and leads and/or participates in client meetings, as needed to support the Proposal / BD process.

+ Works collaboratively and professionally in accordance with the global processes and to support global objectives.

+ Works with BD, Operations, and Finance to produce optimal value pricing solutions, as appropriate for proposals managed.

+ May be required to liaise with other Catalent sites as part of proposals managed.

+ May participate in team initiatives.

The Candidate

+ Life Sciences Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) or business degree, or equivalent work experience required

+ 1+ industry experience required

+ Clinical experience required

+ Previous experience writing commercial quotes highly desired

+ Project management experience is preferable

+ Previous experience writing quotes within the pharmaceutical industry preferred

+ Understanding of the contract development / research, pharmaceutical and biotech industries

+ Knowledge and experience in cGMP and FDA regulated working environments is desirable

+ Quotations/QARs to completion, with coaching and support as needed

+ Use of manual dexterity is required

+ The employee is required to talk and hear
