Positions at Spencer Hospital are not affiliated with Avera; however, we collaborate to provide services to the communities we serve. Responsibilities:

+ Responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care in the ICU

+ Assumes the responsibility for the outcome of nursing care during a specified work period

+ Collaborates with all available nursing personnel to provide total patient care

+ Must have knowledge of and utilize appropriate age-related patient protocols relating to the physical and psychological needs of patients

Requirements:

+ Must be a caring communicator, flexible, able to multitask and be comfortable with technological systems

+ IA RN license

+ BLS, ACLS, PALS and TNCC are required - inhouse education available upon hire

+ One year of Medical/Surgical preferred or critical care experience

+ New grads with a strong desire for critical care are encouraged to apply

Schedule:

+ 72 hours a pay period

+ Straight nights - self scheduling

+ 12 hour shifts 6:30p-7a

+ The schedule may fluctuate based upon the needs of the department

Sign-On:

+ $10,000 sign-on paid out over 2 years

+ $5,000 additional sign-on for straight nights paid out over 2 years

+ Bonuses may be contingent on your status, position, and active employment with Spencer Hospital
