Summary:

Role will lead the development and implementation of advanced manufacturing process on the next generation AI/ML hardware platform collaborating with the Engineering and Original Design Manufacturers (ODMs).

Required Skills:

Product Quality Engineer - PCBA Development Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement manufacturing processes for Meta open hardware technologies by applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly and testing

2. Lead the SMT (Surface Mount Technology) process development of next generation package and PCBA technologies

3. Early engagement with Meta Engineering teams to implement robust DFx requirements and ensure products meet cycle-time, cost, quality and yield targets

4. Serve as a technical resource and subject matter resource for PCBA and PCB matters within project teams

5. Ensure product and process quality targets are met by designing test methods, establishing standards and driving continuous improvement projects with Meta manufacturing partners and key commodity suppliers

6. Drive root cause and corrective action for failures that occur during server integration, rack production and in the Data Center

7. Create and maintain all production process and quality documentation

8. Conduct First Article and Source Inspections reviews on Meta hardware components and assemblies

9. Create BOMs, engineering change notifications, and manufacturing process changes through product lifecycle management tools

10. International travel required

11. BS, Mechanical, Production, Electrical, or equivalent

12. Proven Experience in DFx (Design for Manufacturing) tools like Valor, Allegro

13. Knowledge of quality methodologies and tools is required

14. Experience conveying technical information, presenting findings, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams

16. Demonstrated expertise in identifying, analyzing, and resolving complex technical issues within the PCBA manufacturing environment

Public Compensation:

$139,000/year to $200,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
