Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is seeking a Scheduling Administrative Specialist to join our team!
Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week)
Shift: Days
The Scheduling Administrative Specialist is responsible for timely and accurate retrieval, processing, scanning, mini registration and creation of an encounter using physician orders faxed into Central Scheduling for the Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic Region which includes Mercy Fitzgerald, Nazareth Hospital, St. Francis Wilmington and St. Mary Medical Center Langhorne.
Scheduling Administrative Specialist
+ Coordinates the scheduling and pre-registration processes for patients.
+ Responsible for obtaining complete written orders from referring physician offices.
+ Liaison with insurance verification teams - prior authorization and insurance verification.
+ Index orders that are faxed into EPIC.
+ Schedule appointments from Orders that are in EPIC.
+ Handles additional tasks and projects while maintaining productivity metrics
Qualifications
+ EPIC experience
+ HS diploma or equivalency
+ Medical terminology _Radiology_ knowledge
+ Experience transcribing provider orders
+ Minimum one (1) year experience in a medical office, hospital setting or call center environment
+ Knowledge of HIPPA
