Lab Director
This position includes a*$10,000 sign-on bonus*for a twenty-four-month FT commitment and a housing allowance of*$1,000, grossed up, for twelve months*for a new hire who relocates.

*How you’ll contribute*
A Lab Director who excels in this role develops and implements departmental goals, plans, and standards consistent with the clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization. Responsibilities include:
* Directs and evaluates departmental operations, including patient care delivery, information technologies, service level determination, and complaint management, to achieve performance and quality control objectives.
* Plans and monitors staffing activities, including hiring, orienting, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives.
* Prepares, monitors, and evaluates departmental budgets, and ensures that the department operates in compliance with allocated funding. Coordinates and directs internal/external audits.
* Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth.
* Integrates evidence-based practices into operation and clinical protocols.

*What we’re looking for*
Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree and be licensed by the ASCP, AMT or Department of Health and Human Services. Additional requirements include:
* Education: Master's degree preferred.
* Certification: BLS certification.
