Job Summary and Qualifications

As an Anesthesia Technician, you will work closely with the anesthesia team and surgical staff to help every procedure go safely and smoothly. You will play a key role in keeping equipment ready, supporting patient care, and helping create a safe, comfortable environment throughout the surgical journey.

**Your responsibilities will include** :

+ Preparing and organizing anesthesia equipment and supplies by reviewing surgery schedules and planning for what the team will need

+ Setting up, transporting, and maintaining anesthesia carts and equipment to keep all supplies clean and ready for safe use

+ Helping patients by assisting with transfers, positioning, preparation, and applying non-invasive monitoring devices

+ Acting quickly and confidently if an emergency happens

+ Keeping the environment clean and safe by following infection prevention and safety practices

+ Speaking openly with patients, families, and your team, always protecting patient privacy and advocating for patient rights

What qualifications you will need:

+ Education:

+ High School diploma or equivalent. Experience:

+ Minimum of two years’ experience in related health care field, preferably in operating room or the equivalent of education and experience. Licensure/Certification:

+ Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

+ After two years of employment the employee must pass the Technician certification exam through the ASATT.
