    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

    1) Teach Master’s of Pathologists' Assistant courses to graduate students.

     

    2) Develop lesson plans, prepare presentations, and obtain visual aids, and grade student papers.

     

    3) Advise students on academic and research activities.

    Program Director – Masters in Pathologists' Assistant

    • Overseeing the organization, administration, instruction, evaluation, continuous quality improvement, curriculum planning and development, and overall effectiveness of the program

    • Participating in the budget preparation process

    • Completing a minimum of 36 hours of documented continuing professional development every three years

    • Maintaining NAACLS accreditation for the program

    • Maintaining regular and consistent contact with students, faculty, and program personnel

    _MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:_

    _Applicants must have a master’s degree in Pathologists' Assistant and hold a national certification such as ASCP._

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    _Doctoral degree in health related field and/or 3 years teaching experience._

    SALARY:

    Commensurate with experience.
