Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking an Assistant Controller to join their team. As an Assistant Controller, you will be part of the finance department supporting the overall financial operations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and effective leadership qualities which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Assistant Controller

**Location:** Kenosha, Wisconsin

What's the Job?

+ Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and treasury.

+ Coordinate and manage month-end and year-end close processes.

+ Ensure compliance and accuracy of financial policies and procedures.

+ Manage the fixed asset accounting processes from CapEx to capitalization for the entire organization.

+ Collaborate with the Manager of FP&A on Accounting and Financial Reporting.

What's Needed?

+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

+ 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

+ Experience with SAP or other similar ERP systems.

+ Advanced Excel skills; ability to work with large data sets and financial models.

+ Manufacturing and cost accounting experience strongly preferred.
