Description

Project Kuiper is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. Its mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet to customers and communities around the world.

As a Principal, Technical Business Development , you will lead partnerships for telecom core network running on cloud infrastructure. You have demonstrated expertise in negotiating deals across global MNOs, including roaming partnerships.

Key job responsibilities

- Demonstrated expertise in driving complex deals and negotiations with MNOs

- Deep understanding of 5G protocols and systems implementation from inception to delivery

- Expertise in 5G standards

- Strong executive presence and business writing, financials and communication skills

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure requirements are met to enable global services

- The role will include up to 25%-50% of business travel.

Basic Qualifications

- 7+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience

- 7+ years of professional or military experience

- Bachelor's degree

- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience as a founder or executive focused on related segments, or as a practice leader or business unit owner

- Experience selling to Fortune 1000 or Global 2000 organizations

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $158,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $262,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
