    Description

    We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated professional to join our accounting team. This role is responsible for a variety of accounting tasks, ensuring the delivery of accurate and timely financial information to support decision-making. It’s an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and is eager to grow in the field of accounting.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Process, batch, and upload incoming checks while accurately identifying lines of business

    + Prepare and distribute checks and wires

    + Review and forward Participation Statements to the Forensic Team

    + Open, sort, and distribute mail as needed

    + Provide payment tracking and reporting upon request

    + Assist with receiving and distributing tax documents

    + Support general accounting functions and projects as assigned by management

    + Escalate issues to the Trust Accounting Operations Supervisor as necessary

    + Contribute to system and process improvement initiatives

    + Onboard clients, managers, and attorneys into the accounting system to ensure proper payment remittance setup

    Requirements

    Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree preferred

    + Prior experience in entertainment accounting is a plus

    + Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams

    + Highly motivated, energetic, and a true team player

    + Proven ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment

    + Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

    + High integrity with the ability to handle confidential information discreetly

    + Sense of urgency with a proactive approach to tasks and problem-solving

    + Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

    + Skilled in 10-key by touch and capable of typing 45+ WPM

    + Demonstrates initiative by seeking out additional responsibilities when needed
