    Lactalis American Group, Inc. part of the Lactalis family of companies, is currently hiring Maintenance Techs Levels III and IV based in Nampa, ID.

     

    Maintenance Technician's Level III and Level IV will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing and packaging equipment through a broad knowledge base of manufacturing skills in electrical, controls and mechanical disciplines involving work of a varied nature; resulting in efficient and reliable operation of plant facilities.

    Requirements

    From your EXPERTISE to ours

    Key responsibilities for this position include:

    Level III Responsibilities

     

    Mechanical:Greasing and changing parts, making movement adjustments to machinery, aligning linear bearings and motors; drilling, grinding and cutting, basic lathe and milling, welding and modifying parts.

     

    Electrical:Reading schematics, using voltmeters, troubleshooting relay and PLC logic panels.

     

    Pneumatic:Adjusting flows, change/repair components

     

    Plumbing:Replace PVC, copper, galvanized and/or steel piping including making modifications.

     

    Level IV Responsibilities

     

    Mechanical:Level III responsibilities with the addition of sanitary welding.

     

    Electrical:Level III responsibilities with the addition of fine-tuning PID loops, calibrating sensor probes and replacing components in the ASI network.

     

    Pneumatic: Level III responsibilities with the addition of upgrade components and designing systems.

     

    Plumbing:Level III responsibilities with the addition of making modifications and designing new systems.

     

    From your STORY to ours

    Qualified applicants will contribute the following:

    + Associate’s Degree from a two-year college or technical school preferred.

    + 2+ years’ related experience in maintenance required.

    + Ability to form the Level III or Level IV tasks described above.

    + Ability to work in a safe, sanitary and productive manner in accordance to site GMP’s.

    + Ability to work 12-hour shifts and weekends.

    + Ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions. Ability to troubleshoot and maintain production equipment.

    + Basic to advanced welding skills depending on role level (Level III vs. Level IV).

    + Knowledge of packaging, processing and utility equipment.

    + Ability to work in a team environment.

    + Strong communication abilities in both written and verbal.
