Kennedy Krieger Institute is seeking a **Clinical Fellow – SLP** to join our Special Education team and make a meaningful impact in the lives of children, adolescents, and adults with developmental disabilities.

     

    Exciting CF opportunity to work with a team of supportive SLPs. Work with elementary, high school, and transitional students (up to 21 years old) with complex communication needs and significant behavioral challenges. Many AAC/AT learning opportunities. Students earn certificates of completion as they work to develop functional life skills in this collaborative and specialized interdisciplinary setting.

    What You’ll Do:

    As a Clinical Fellow, you’ll work alongside experienced professionals to:

    + Deliver **speech/language, oral motor, and feeding/swallowing assessments and treatments** tailored to each patient’s unique needs.

    + Develop and implement **individualized treatment plans** that empower patients and families.

    + Collaborate in **interdisciplinary team conferences** and professional development activities.

    + Maintain **comprehensive documentation** in line with MSDE, ASHA, COMAR, and accreditation standards.

    + Participate in **community outreach** and departmental initiatives.

    What You Bring:

    + Master’s degree in **Speech-Language Pathology** .

    + **Limited License** from the Maryland Board of Audiologists, Hearing Aid Dispensers, and Speech-Language Pathologists.

    + CPR certification.

    + Bonus: Additional training in **pediatric feeding/swallowing or communication disorders** .
