    Locum NP/PA – Urgent Care

     

    Urgent Care | Multiple NC Locations: Kinston | Goldsboro | Wilson | Roanoke Rapids | Wilmington

     

    Assignment Details

     

    + Start Date: ASAP

    + Duration: Ongoing PRN shifts

    + Schedule: Flexible PRN coverage

    + Coverage Radius: Within 65 miles of home residence

    + Patient Volume: Avg 20/day (up to 40/day depending on site)

    + Setting: Standalone urgent care centers

    + EMR: Epic (modified training provided)

    + Support Staff: Center Manager, MA, PSA, offsite supervising physician

     

    Clinical Scope

     

    + Ages: 6 months and up

    + Cases: Adult & Pediatric Urgent Care

    + Procedures: I&D, laceration repair, ear irrigation, minor procedures

    + Solo Coverage: Must be comfortable as sole provider

    Requirements

    + Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner

    + Active NC license

    + BLS certification

    + Minimum 1 year of urgent care experience

    + Epic proficiency required

    + Strong interpersonal skills for one-on-one patient and staff interaction

    + + Compensation & Logistics
