    Job Description

Do you thrive in empowering young adults as they navigate school, careers, and life challenges? Are you motivated by helping others achieve success in the face of adversity? We are looking for a Supported Employment & Education (SEE) Specialist to join our Young Adult First Episode Psychosis Team in Kansas City, MO.

In this full-time, community-based role, you will work closely with youth and young adults (ages 15–25) —providing support, advocacy, and skill-building to help them thrive in education and employment.

**About the Role:** As a SEE Specialist, you will work collaboratively with a supportive interdisciplinary team to provide rehabilitative services, job development, life skill development and school navigation to young adults experiencing symptoms of psychosis. You will assess individual client needs, help them set meaningful goals, and provide follow-through support as they pursue stability, wellness, and growth. This role is perfect for someone who is flexible, personable, and passionate about working with young people—especially in underserved communities.

    Minimum Requirements:

+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited program in psychology, rehabilitation, social work, social services, business administration, or a related field.

+ Two or more years of experience in rehabilitation, workforce development, sales, or a related field.

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

+ Valid driver’s license and compliance with Fleet Driving Safety requirements.

+ Ability to work effectively with multicultural clients and team members. Positive, energetic, and caring attitude.

    Preferred Qualifications:

+ Experience working with young adults with mental illness, particularly in First Episode Psychosis (FEP) programs.

+ Background in disability services, special education, or behavioral health.

**Schedule & Work Location:** Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Community-based role primarily in the Kansas City, MO area.

**Why Join Us?** Be a catalyst for change in the lives of young adults and their families. Work in a supportive, mission-driven team environment. Enjoy variety and creativity in delivering interventions in homes, schools, parks, and more. Help close opportunity gaps and support resilience in the urban core.
