    Sr. Project Manager - Field Project Lead

    Job Description Summary

    The Senior Project Manager, Field Project Lead – Small Works requires experience with program process implementation to oversee and manage Small Works projects from inception to completion. Small Works is defined as facilities management projects, generally without permits and under a defined dollar threshold. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in program process, project management, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Full time on site role with client that requires coordination with consultants and construction teams. Includes escorting vendors for all projects on client campus assigned during project hours required for the building rules and regulations

    + Lead and schedule meetings, prepare agendas, develop and maintain master project budgets and timelines as required for each project and project phase to ensure overall project objectives and client needs are met• Prepare and coordinate project status and budget at all project phases with current status documentation in project management tool

    • Assist in the selection and contracting process and oversight of consultants and construction teams as necessary for each project.

    • Review bids, change orders and other invoices associated with the project; advise and counsel the internal and external clients

    • Supervise and manage the performance, development, work quality, reporting, and activities of Project Managers, Project Coordinators, Procurement and Finance

    • Upload all necessary documentation and reports to the client project management tool timely

    • Support internal team to achieve SLA and KPI agreements

    • Train, develop, motivate and manage project managers necessary to meet established goals; review and appraise their work performance

    • Implement government laws and regulations and adheres to established rulings of government authorities

    •Contribute to the refinement of best practices and standards of excellence for the overall service line and to Cushman & Wakefield.

    •Identify and address areas of concern regarding potential liabilities and risk (fee, our reputation, errors and omissions, etc.).

    Competencies

    • Advanced project management skills with expertise in the project management business.

    • Expert in client relations, client management and consulting.

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    • Highly organized with strong analytical skills.

    • Proven project management and people skills.

    • A strong working knowledge of program reporting, budgeting, scheduling and processes as they relate to corporate real estate, design and construction.

    + A strong working knowledge of high volume, on site small project management with problem solving, communication and project documentation.

    • Software skills: Microsoft Office applications, MS Project, MS Excel, PMWeb skills a plus
