Sustainability Analyst Intern

Job Description:

Qualifications:

+ Minimum 3.0 overall GPA required

+ Minimum of a Junior undergraduate or graduate student

+ Pursuing a degree in Environmental Sciences, Sustainability, Business, Environmental Engineering, Materials Science, Data Analytics, or another related field

+ Research/analytical skills

+ Ability to work with large sets of data and interpret trends and changes

+ Time management skills

+ Proactive self-starter

+ Agility to adapt to rapidly changing demands and multiple stakeholder requests

+ Detail-oriented

+ Problem solving and critical thinking skills

+ Have a general passion for sustainability and how to integrate it in a corporate environment

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel and PowerPoint

+ Have an interest in working for a global company and an understanding of a corporate work environment and culture

+ Have excellent verbal and written communication skills

+ Seek a wide range of opportunities for growth and development

Responsibilities:

+ Data collection for Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM)

+ Data collection for CA Senate Bill 253

+ Data collection for Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) regulation

+ Responding to customer sustainability questionnaire requests

+ Actively monitor and research new, emerging, and changing regulations for potential business impacts as well as benchmarking activities
