    POSITION STATEMENT: Provide leadership, supervision and organization of the activity team and carry out the objectives of the program. Help each participating student achieve a high level of skill, an appreciation for the values of discipline and an increased level of self-esteem.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    + Demonstrate aptitude for performing identified tasks

    + Exhibit high moral values and be able to serve as a favorable example to young people

    + Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable

    PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

    + Instruct team members on activity

    + Conduct team meetings and practices

    + Register team members for tournament/competition

    + Keep parents and team members informed of scheduled practices

    + Inform team members of district rules and procedures
