    Blank Children's Hospital, a service of UnityPoint Health - Des Moines, is completely dedicated to meeting the unique health care needs of children. Blank Children's is a 108-bed environment that embraces and encourages families to be a part of their child's healing and recovery. Everything from equipment to decor is designed specifically for children.

    Responsibilities

    Birth care services

     

    + Regular checks throughout pregnancy

    + Deliveries – average between 40-50 deliveries per month

    + 24 hour in house call

     

    Women’s care services

     

    + Routine GYN care and reproductive counseling

    + Manage and treat common health problems for adolescents during puberty and women going through menopause

    + Annual well-woman exams, vaccinations, fertility counseling, referral for mammography, lab testing

    + Family planning

    Qualifications

    + CNM

    + 3+ years of experience preferred

    + Strong labor and delivery background

    + Eligible to work in the United States
