    Speech-Language PathologistLocation: Corning, NY | Department: Rehabilitative Services

We’re seeking a skilled and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our rehabilitative team and help patients in an outpatient setting achieve their highest level of communication and swallowing function.

    What You’ll Do

    + Evaluate patients and create individualized treatment plans based on physician orders.

    + Provide direct therapy to pediatric and adult patients in an outpatient setting.

    + Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care.

    + Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment goals and techniques.

    + Document evaluations, progress notes, and treatment outcomes in compliance with policy.

    + Participate in departmental initiatives, in-service training, and continuing education.

    + Contribute to the development of innovative speech therapy programs and services.

    What We’re Looking For

    + Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.

    + Eligible for New York State licensure and registration.

    + Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA, or eligibility to obtain.

    + One to two years of hospital experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.

    + Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required within 90 days of hire).

    Physical Requirements & Work Environment

    + Standing for extended periods; occasional lifting, positioning, or transferring of patients and equipment.
