    Hourly rate: $19.00-$25.00, based on experience

     

    Job purpose

     

    Trains users in the event of non-compliance as determined by compliance or safety departments

     

    Duties and responsibilities

     

    + Counseling/Training-Violations

    + Conduct and coordinate driver training activities including initial training, training as it pertains to violations, proficiency training, and retraining as required

     

    - Driver Compliance

     

    - HOS Regulations

     

    - Communicating violations

     

    - ELD Provider (KT)

     

    + CDL Training program

     

    - Trains and evaluates driver trainees in Theory, Range and Behind the wheel

     

    + New Driver sign on training /orientation

    + Equipment Training have knowledge of and ability to train drivers in safe operation of all types of trailers and equipment operated by Page

     

    - Train and evaluate securement processes

     

    + Knowledge of HOS policy

    + Maintain personnel files on training/interventions

    + Fluent with MOTIVE, HOS regulation, Microsoft Suite and TMW

    + Develop and utilize scheduling for training and evaluation

    + Assist safety manager, supervisors, and managers with investigations of motor vehicle incidents

    + Assist and coordinate specialized safety seminars relevant to drivers (driving hazards, logbooks etc.)

    + Provides Professional Interface with Customers, Drivers & Carriers– always representing Page in a positive manner

    + Ride along with company driver, gain an understanding of driver operations and work completed within their daily functions

    + Regular Attendance & Punctuality

    + Able to haul loads when needed

    Qualifications

    Qualifications:

    + Associates degree preferred

    + 5 Years of experience with OTR driving regulations/conditions

    + Knowledge of applicable FMCSA/DOT rules and regulations

    + Solid understanding of transportation equipment/terminology

    + Manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced, service-driven environment

    + Organize and schedule work day independently

    + Good interpersonal skills and service attitude

    + Knowledge of MOTIVE electronic logging systems, Microsoft office Suite, TMW Suite & Transman

    + 40 Hour Hazwhopper and OSHA training

    + Conflict resolution

    + Must pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug test and agree to companies drug free workplace policies

    + Be certified as CDL Driver trainer

    + Hold a valid CDL

    Physical Requirements:

    + Physically fit and able to sit for long periods of time

    + Able to lift/push/pull up to 50lbs comfortably

    + Ability to sit, twist, turn, reach and pull with comfort
