Description We are looking for a skilled Network Administrator/I.T Analyst to join our team in Fort Payne, Alabama. In this Contract-to-permanent role, you will provide crucial technical support to plant and office environments, ensuring seamless operation of hardware, software, and network systems. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment while contributing to mission-critical IT solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver timely technical assistance and guidance on the use of company hardware and software within both office and plant settings.

• Resolve first and second-level issues through the IT Helpdesk ticketing system, ensuring efficient problem-solving.

• Collaborate with teams such as Logistics, Production, Maintenance, and Engineering to address downtime issues and maintain operational continuity.

• Install, configure, test, and upgrade hardware and software, including workstations, shop floor systems, and label printers.

• Monitor and maintain network systems, including backups, antivirus software, and user account management.

• Support essential IT systems on-site, such as shipping and sequencing platforms, ensuring their optimal performance.

• Develop SQL queries and data extracts to meet reporting requirements at an intermediate level.

• Assist with multiple IT projects across the organization, promoting end-user satisfaction and teamwork.

• Stay updated on industry advancements to enhance technical skills and knowledge.

• Provide after-hours support when required to ensure continuous plant operations. Requirements • Possess a 2-year technical degree or a 4-year degree in a related field (preferred).

• Hold certifications such as CompTIA Network+ and Server+, with Cisco Certification being an advantage.

• Have at least 2-3 years of experience providing computer support in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Demonstrate proficiency in WAN and LAN network management.

• Exhibit expertise in using ticketing systems to resolve technical issues.

• Show capability in developing SQL queries and handling data reporting needs.

• Display strong knowledge of computer hardware and related systems.
