Responsibilities
We are offering a $10K sign on bonus to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.
We are offering $10K in relocation to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.
Provides oversight of the activities on a nursing unit during a specific shift including serving as a resource to staff, directing patient flow, assuring appropriate utilization of resources, and providing oversight for the provision of quality care in a manner satisfying to patients
+ Mentors others in areas such as competency, documentation, equipment use, plan of care, National Patient Safety Goals, and participation in inservice education.
+ Evaluates care given by staff.
+ Coaches to improve care.
+ Ensures standard of care is maintained.
+ Exhibits a general understanding of the process for dealing with ethical dilemmas and understands and coordinates the process for obtaining an Ethics Consult.
+ Coordinates patient flow on the unit to facilitate the provision of timely and effective care.
+ Utilizes the Clinical Response Team (CRT) appropriately for the area.
+ Demonstrates appropriate prioritization and critical thinking skills in critical situations
Qualifications
Minimum:
+ Associate’s Degree - ADN, Diploma or foreign equivalent.
+ Current AZ State RN license in good standing required.
+ Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification - Nat'l
+ Two (2) years RN experience within applicable clinical specialty
Preferred:
+ Two years RN experience within applicable clinical specialty and/or Charge Nurse experience.
+ BSN
+ American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification obtained within six months of hire into position.
+ Previous experience with personal computers

Pay Range
$42.85 - $63.77 /hour
