A Mid-level Construction Manager specializing in Transmission & Substation projects is responsible for overseeing and managing construction activities related to electrical transmission and substation projects.

Responsibilities for a Job Title include but are not limited to:

+ Developing and implementing project plans, schedules, and budgets for transmission and substation projects.

+ Coordinating with engineering teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met.

+ Managing construction progress and quality to ensure adherence to project specifications and standards.

+ Procuring materials, equipment, and services for transmission and substation projects.

+ Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards on construction sites.

+ Preparing project documentation, including reports, drawings, and specifications.

+ Providing leadership and guidance to project teams and subcontractors.

+ Conducting site meetings and inspections.

+ Collaborating with project managers and senior management to address project risks and issues.

+ Managing project budgets, costs, and resources.

Candidates for Job Title must meet the following requirements to be considered:

+ Ideal candidate will have extensive utility construction management experience in the field

+ Experience must have at least some Transmission and/or Substation construction experience.

+ General knowledge of safety within the electric utility industry

+ Bachelor’s Degree preferred

+ Proficient with computers

+ Willing to travel to construction sites throughout the ComEd region.

What's in this Job Title position for you?

+ Will receive up to $800 in expense reimbursement each month plus a $50 cell phone allowance.

+ 2 year contract length with possibility of extension

+ In-person interview

+ PayRate: $65.00

**Pay Details:** $65.00 per hour
