What You’ll Do
As a **Helicopter EMS Pilot** , you will be at the heart of emergency response operations—ensuring the safe and efficient transport of critically ill or injured patients. Operating with precision, confidence, and purpose, you’ll be supported by an elite team of medical and aviation professionals.
Your responsibilities will include:
+ Safely operating helicopters in a variety of critical care and emergency scenarios
+ Conducting thorough **pre-flight planning** and verifying aircraft airworthiness
+ Communicating flight status with medical crew, dispatch, and maintenance teams
+ Completing flight documentation and required FAA reports
+ Actively participating in our **Safety Management System** and safety-first culture
+ Demonstrating professionalism, accountability, and exceptional service in every mission
Qualifications
+ FAA **Commercial Pilot Certificate** with **Instrument Rating**
+ Current **Class II FAA Medical Certificate**
+ **Minimum Flight Hours** :
+ 2,000 Total Time (1,500 Helicopter)
+ 1,000 PIC in Helicopters
+ High school diploma or GED
+ Strong communication and customer service skills
+ Must meet and maintain **weight restriction limit of 235 lbs.**
+ Ability to pass a **pre-placement physical exam** , functional capacity evaluation (strength and flexibility, ability to lift 100 lbs.), **drug screen** , and **background check**
