    How will you make an impact?

     

    As a Facilities Supervisor, you will lead a team of technicians and housekeepers to ensure the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of the facility and its surrounding premises. You will oversee preventive maintenance, environmental compliance, vendor management, and emergency response while driving continuous improvement in cost, performance, and operational efficiency. Your leadership will directly support the reliability of production operations and the overall safety and functionality of the site.

     

    What will you do?

     

    + Supervise preventive and routine maintenance, equipment overhauls, and emergency repairs for buildings, utilities, and production equipment.

    + Oversee janitorial services and grounds maintenance to ensure cleanliness and safety.

    + Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and maintain all required permits.

    + Act as liaison with public utility, environmental, and energy agencies.

    + Ensure all electrical, mechanical, and construction work complies with applicable codes and safety standards.

    + Lead safety training for all facilities staff, including hazard awareness and protective measures.

    + Maintain operational flexibility and implement improvements to enhance plant utility efficiency.

    + Oversee all aspects of electrical safety and ensure compliance with safety protocols.

    + Plan and manage monthly budgets and ensure cost-effective operations.

    + Coordinate and ensure all facilities work meets specifications, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.

    + Support the Functional Manager with daily operations and strategic initiatives.

    + Manage third-party vendors and contractors, ensuring timely and compliant completion of work.

    + Respond to facility-related emergencies and implement corrective actions.

    + Drive continuous improvement in all aspects of facilities operations.

    + Perform other duties as assigned.

     

    How will you get here?

    Education:

    + High school diploma or GED required.

    + Two-year technical degree preferred.

    Experience:

    + Minimum of 5 years of experience as a lead facility maintenance technician.

    + Hands-on experience with mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems.

    + HVAC experience preferred.

    + Experience in a regulated or medical device manufacturing environment is a plus.

    Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

    + Strong knowledge of building maintenance, electrical systems, and facility codes.

    + Familiarity with EH&S practices including Lockout/Tagout, Hot Work, Confined Space Safety, Fall Prevention, and Hazardous Materials Management.

    + Proven ability to manage vendors, contractors, and cross-functional teams.

    + Strong communication and leadership skills.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and email.

    + Ability to manage budgets and implement cost-saving initiatives.

    + Experience with change management and continuous improvement programs.

    The pay range for this role is $69,100 - $124,400. Job-related, non-discriminatory factors used to determine the actual offered rate include qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and consideration of internal equity.
