    Description:

    Assistant Project Specialist

    ABOUT THE ROLE

    Duro-Last Roofing, the world’s largest manufacturer of prefabricated roofing systems, has an opening for an Assistant Project Specialist at our Ludlow, Massachusetts facility. This is a full-time, on-site, hourly position.

    WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH:

    + Work with contractors and sales reps on all aspects of job: Membrane, metal, ISO, and add on products

    + Point person for contractors to go to for quotes and orders. Direct communication with field

    + Responsible for tracking and following up on quotes in the field

    + Entering orders into the AS-400 system

    + Learn all aspects of commercial roofing; Product selling and installation tactics will be essential in overall contractor satisfaction

    + Other duties as assigned

    WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

    + Excellent interpersonal, written, and spoken communication skills

    + Excellent working knowledge Microsoft Office to include Word and Excel are required

    + Energetic and “self-starting”

    + Accurate and detail-oriented

    + Must have excellent math and keyboarding skills

    + Ability to handle multiple tasks in fast paced environment

    + Ability to work independently on projects and perform as part of a team

    + Knowledge of the Duro-Last Roofing system a plus

    + Ability to work within deadlines

    + Customer service experience preferred
