Job Summary

**Summary:** Responsible for seating residents in the dining room. Handles customer service situations as they arise.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

+ Promptly and warmly greet guests; guide them to tables based on availability or preference.

+ Create a pleasant dining experience while ensuring a clean, safe environment.

+ Display exceptional communication, flexibility, patience, and a people-first attitude.

+ Maintain confidentiality with guest personal or medical information.

+ Supervise dining room staff to ensure proper service, food handling, and sanitation.

+ Assist in training new food-service team members.

+ Oversee dining room closing; ensure setup and side work are completed properly.

+ Demonstrate emergency procedures and assist in evacuations if necessary.

+ Support service team with bussing or food running while upholding sanitation standards.

+ Operate equipment such as fire extinguishers, phones, soda/tea machines, soup wells, etc.

+ Collaborate with other departments, especially during events or special functions.

+ Perform other assigned duties as needed.
