    Job Title:      Loader Operator

     

    Reports to:   Production Manager

    Hours vary to meet the needs of customers and business operations. Must have schedule flexibility, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays

    Job Summary:

    In this role as  Crush Pad Loader Operator , you will use the loader to prep vehicles for crushing operations and operate the crusher to complete the vehicle’s lifecycle. The ideal candidate is reliable and safety-conscious, and experienced. This role plays a vital part in maintaining site safety and operational efficiency.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    + Expose the dash and heavy saturated areas of wire to assist the ground de-core team

    + Pull down the yard of vehicles to be crushed

    + Manipulate the motor for ease of de-coring by the ground de-core team

    + Safely operate the forklift to load trucks with packages of crushed vehicles

    + Work closely with site supervisors and crew members to coordinate loading operations

    + Follow all company safety protocols, procedures, and regulatory requirements

    + Maintain a clean and organized work environment

    + Assist with general labor duties as needed on the job site

    Required Skills & Qualifications:

    + High School Diploma or GED

    + Valid driver’s license

    + Prior production, warehouse, and/or automotive experience

    + Prior experience operating heavy equipment

    + Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures

    + Regular attendance and timeliness

    + Maintain a consistent work schedule

    + Must be able to read, write, and speak English

    + Bilingual Spanish - desired, not required

    Job Conditions:

    + Exposure to a variety of weather conditions

    + Ability to work in a work environment with moving equipment

    + Regular bending, lifting, and standing/squatting
