Description

Take on a rewarding and prominent leadership role in a Magnet® designated and world-class health organization. The Assistant Nurse Manger is responsible for assisting with clinical management and administrative coordination of the nursing unit. The position is a combination of direct clinical care and administrative responsibilities

Qualifications

Required:

+ Current California RN license

+ BSN or MSN

+ Scrub and circulating experience required

+ 3 year recent Operating Room Experience, no Acute Care

+ BLS from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association

+ Ability to push, pull, lift, up to 35 lbs.

+ Consistently achieves high standards in clinical duties and holds self to same standards

+ Effectively listens and communicates to peers both positive and constructive feedback

+ Consistently uses good judgment in making decisions

+ Develop rapport with patients, patients families, and multidisciplinary teams

+ Maintains positive attitude towards unit and work, helping to build unit's positive reputation

+ developing a plan of care including setting goals, monitoring, and documenting progress
