**Salary Range** : $79,400 - $119,200 Annual

The stated pay range is based on a national-average location. Actual salary is determined by factors including relevant work experience, skills and location. This position is bonus eligible.
40|86 is hiring a Portfolio Analyst in the Leveraged Loan Group. The group currently manages about $1.25B in leveraged loans within collateralized loan obligation (CLO) structures and $350M in CLO debt securities. The individual will be primarily responsible for ensuring that our portfolios adhere to investor requirements as is expected to learn about fundamental credit analysis, portfolio and risk management, and structured credit to contribute to the investment process.

As a CLO Portfolio Analyst, your responsibilities will include:
+ Ensuring monthly and quarterly reports are accurate and distributed to investors
+ Monitoring compliance with indenture requirements and identifying tests at risk of failure
+ Developing and maintaining various risk models that assist the AVP, Leveraged Loans and VP, Leveraged Loans in identifying market dislocations and opportunities.
+ Preparing and recommending quarterly dividends for our CLO originator
+ Working with the traders and trustees in determining our daily investable cash
The CLO Portfolio Analyst position** **is well-suited for you if you:
+ Have a strong passion for financial markets

+ Would like to continue to develop
+ Possess strong written and oral communication skills
What you’ll need:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Math, Computer Science, or analytical Liberal Arts major
+ 0-1 years of experience, inclusive of internship experience. Recent grads are welcome to apply!
+ Proficiency in Excel and Python is required.
+ Interest in pursuing CFA designation in the future

This role is affiliated to the Carmel Corporate Office, and candidates for this role need to reside within a 60-mile radius of that corporate office and will be required to come into that office.
