    Industrial Maintenance Electrician

    About the Role

    We are seeking an Industrial Maintenance Electrician with proven experience in a manufacturing environment. This is not a residential or field tech role — we need someone with strong electrical troubleshooting, installation, and preventative maintenance skills who can contribute directly to supporting production goals.

     

    The right candidate will not only be able to pull conduit and wire panels, but will also use their expertise to identify required supplies, determine proper wire sizing, and ensure electrical needs align with manufacturing demands.

    Responsibilities

    + Read, interpret, and apply blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.

    + Inspect, test, and repair electrical components (e.g., transformers, circuit breakers).

    + Use testing devices to diagnose and document electrical issues.

    + Install and program electrical equipment; maintain accurate material usage records.

    + Assess wire and conduit sizing for new installations and system expansions.

    + Interpret and work with PLC ladder logic programs.

    + Perform preventative maintenance (PMs) on electrical systems throughout the facility.

    + Troubleshoot machinery using electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical knowledge.

    + Support building repairs (roof, ceilings, walls, floors, HVAC, plumbing, refrigeration, welding, etc.) as needed.

    + Follow all safety and food quality standards; report hazards immediately.

    + Prioritize maintenance tasks to support production goals.

    + Wear appropriate PPE and adhere to all safety policies.

    Skills & Qualifications

    + Ability to read electrical and mechanical prints.

    + Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

    + Competence in PLCs, conduit bending, and panel wiring.

    + Excellent communication and time management skills.

    + Valid driver’s license.

    + Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.

    Education & Experience

    + High School Diploma or equivalent required.

    + Minimum 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience (manufacturing required).

    + Experience with voltage ranges from 24V to 480V.

    + Formal electrical certifications preferred but not required.
