    Veolia's Chemical Solutions & Monitoring (CSM) division is seeking a Field Service Representative (FSR) to join our team. As the FSR, you'll become an integral part of Water Tech, a global frontrunner in water recovery, treatment, and reuse.

     

    You'll be responsible for delivering top-notch on-site technical customer service, including conducting chemical tests, maintaining chemical feed and control equipment, managing chemical inventories, providing technical recommendations, and compiling detailed service reports. Your contribution will support Veolia's commitment to delivering sustainable water solutions across diverse applications such as food and beverage, municipal water, microelectronics, and heavy industrial wastewater treatment, underlining your critical role in achieving our mission to resource the world.

    Job Description

    Job Summary:

    The Regeneration Operator II prepares resin, mobile equipment and ion exchange resin tanks for

    customer fulfillment. Regenerates ion exchange resin and media with various chemicals. Handles

     

    chemicals such as acids, bases and salts. Performs quality control checks on the equipment and is

     

    generally responsible for tasks performed by Plant Operations alongside Regen Operator I's

     

    Additionally a Regen Operator II should possess more advanced troubleshooting and complex system

     

    knowledge, Proficiency with our operational tracking and system monitoring softwares, demonstrated

     

    proficiency in all EHS related items, and have the capacity to temporarily lead a shift in absence of the

     

    scheduled shift lead.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Receives equipment returning from customer sites in various configurations containing ion

     

    exchange resins and filter media. Performs incoming quality certification (QC) and testing on

     

    equipment, sensors, safety alarms, calibrations etc..

    of the role. Responsibilities may change over time and may be assigned at any time.

     

    • Advanced troubleshooting based on results of QC. Next path for both the equipment &

     

    exhausted media determined and executed.

     

    • Regeneration type completed for ion exchange (IX) resins and media. Process involves use of

     

    corrosive chemicals such as mineral acids and bases such as sodium hydroxide. Tracks media

    batches across plant value chain & inputs data into ERP system

    • Performs regen QC checks for IX process to ensure specifications meet with tight customer

     

    performance expectations. Tests may include pH, specific gravity, calibrations, measurements

     

    specific ions like sodium, silica, iron concentrations, spectrophotometry, resistivity, and TDS.

     

    • Once equipment configuration is confirmed, passed QC media are loaded into the receiving unit

     

    and the outgoing QC checks are completed against our standard or client specific data.

     

    • Repairs and helps maintain the vessels and other critical core service equipment, which could

     

    include valving/PVC pipework, gauges and refurbishing units as required.

     

    • Separates, tracks, labels ion exchange resins and other medias as required

    • Will be involved in partnering with on-site EHS to fulfill safety functions and could be asked to

     

    be part of a team or co-own an EHS Gensuite element for the facility. Also expected to deliver

    against personal EHS targets

    • Performs relevant data entry into SAP platform and other quality monitoring software, able to

    understand the output of insight equipment monitoring

    • Leads the shift in the absence of a shift lead, is able to guide and direct others to complete tasks

    • Other duties as assigned

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

    • At least 1 year of experience in comparable manufacturing environment involving chemical

     

    handling, or at least 1 year of experience in plumbing, pump or mechanical repair.

     

    • This is a physical job where you will need to perform frequent lifting and bending motions, use

     

    hand tools and manually manipulate products/ equipment.

    Qualifications

    Education & Experience

    Required:

    • HS Diploma, GED or equivalent.

    • Possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record history

    Preferred (if applicable):

    • HS Chemistry knowledge highly desired

    Additional Information

    • Ability and willingness to complete occasional site assignments for customer troubleshooting,

     

    operation and installation.

     

    • Ability and willingness to perform physical duties such as lifting, climbing, working at elevated

    heights, and manual dexterity

    • Ability and willingness to work in range of environments to include but not limited to industrial

    facilities, manufacturing facilities, and power industry facilities

    • Ability and willingness to travel for install and repair if needed
