    Description

    We are looking for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join a growing non-profit organization based in St. Paul, Minnesota. This is a Contract-to-long-term position that requires a commitment of approximately 12 hours per month, with the potential for increased hours as the organization expands.

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform monthly reconciliations for accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

    • Process payroll for salaried employees using Gusto software.

    • Manage check requests and accounts payable workflows efficiently.

    • Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and budget comparisons.

    • Maintain accurate records in QuickBooks Online to support organizational audits.

    • Assist in tracking and reporting revenue growth, aligning financial data with organizational goals.

    • Support the preparation of financial documentation for audits of up to $750,000.

    • Provide insights into financial trends and assist in budget planning.

    • Handle accounts receivable tasks and ensure timely processing of incoming payments.

    Requirements • Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper, preferably in a non-profit setting.

     

    • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online for financial management and reporting.

    • Familiarity with payroll processing software, such as Gusto.

    • Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation processes.

    • Ability to prepare detailed financial reports and interpret them in the context of budgets.

    • Excellent organizational and communication skills for remote collaboration.

    • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.

    • Experience supporting audits and managing financial documentation.
