    We are looking for a detail-oriented Medical Front Desk / Billing Clerk to join a thriving healthcare team in Portland, Maine.     Responsibilities:

    • Manage front desk operations, including greeting patients and handling inquiries with professionalism and care.

    • Process medical billing tasks accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

    • Maintain and update patient records, ensuring confidentiality and attention to detail.

    • Coordinate patient scheduling to optimize office workflows and enhance service delivery.

    • Handle insurance claims and related documentation, resolving discrepancies as needed.

    • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing patient concerns and fostering positive relationships.

    • Utilize computer systems and software for administrative tasks, demonstrating strong technical skills.

    • Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure seamless communication and efficient operations.

    • Uphold a high level of organization and attention to detail in all administrative duties.

    • Contribute to the overall success of the office by supporting team goals and adapting to evolving needs.

    Requirements

    • At least 1 year of experience in a medical/dental office or administrative office role.

    • Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt quickly to new tasks and challenges.

    • Strong motivation and work ethic, with a proactive approach to responsibilities.

    • Proficiency in computer systems and software applications.

    • Excellent customer service and communication skills.

    • Exposure to medical billing, patient records, insurance claims, or related areas is advantageous.

    • Proven history of stable employment.

    • Ability to multi-task and maintain organization in a fast-paced environment
