Description

Robert Half Legal is partnering with a prestigious defense firm in their search for a temporary, part-time California-barred Litigation Attorney. This role is fully remote and offers a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading defense firm and contribute to a critical upcoming trial.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Assist with discovery tasks, including drafting and responding to discovery requests and managing discovery-related processes.

+ Handle law and motion work, such as drafting and filing motions, oppositions, and other pretrial pleadings.

+ Collaborate with the firm's attorneys to develop legal strategies and prepare for an upcoming trial scheduled toward the end of the year.

+ Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support litigation objectives.

+ Ensure all work adheres to California legal standards and deadlines.

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ Must be actively licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar.

+ Minimum 5+ years of litigation experience, with a strong focus on discovery and law and motion practice.

+ Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage a part-time workload of approximately 20-25 hours per week.

+ Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.

+ Experience preparing for trial is preferred.
