Quality Control Technician – Raw Materials

**Location:** Somerset. NJ

Pay: 24.5/hr based on experience

Overview:

Adecco Healthcare and Lifesciences is partnered with a notable cosmetics company seeking a detail-oriented and motivated **Quality Control Technician** to support manufacturing operations by conducting accurate and timely quality control testing on raw materials. This role is critical in ensuring that all materials meet established standards and specifications in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Perform quality control testing of raw materials using various analytical methods.

+ Accurately document and maintain records, reports, and lab documentation in compliance with internal and regulatory standards.

+ Communicate any quality-related concerns or potential issues to senior team members or management promptly.

+ Ensure compliance with current SOPs, quality standards, methods, and specifications.

+ Apply specialized testing procedures and techniques as required for functional responsibilities.

+ Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in alignment with L’Oréal’s policies and safety protocols.

+ Adhere strictly to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).

+ Participate in additional project work or cross-functional initiatives as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

+ **Color and odor acuity:** Must be able to pass required color and odor testing.

+ **Laboratory experience:** Prior experience in a lab environment preferred.

+ Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and testing.

+ Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.

+ Effective verbal and written communication skills; able to work cross-functionally with other departments.

+ Reliable, self-motivated, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.

+ Familiarity with standard computer systems, including **Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)** .

+ Ability to prioritize tasks and work with a sense of urgency.

**Pay Details:** $23.00 to $24.50 per hour
