    Description

    Dodge Construction Network (Dodge) is searching for aBidData Specialist II to join our team!

     

    This role is responsible for managing and processing bid opportunities by leveraging automated tools and conducting manual research as needed.Itwill handleincoming bid feeds, search and match project data, and create or update Dodge Reports in Dodge Construction Network's data platform. Daily responsibilities include monitoring websites for new opportunities, performing bid checks, acquiring and verifying project plans, and maintaining up-to-date project records. The role also requires resolving customer inquiries related to bid content and providing coverage for team members as necessary to ensure uninterrupted reporting within the assigned territory.

     

    Thisis afull-timepositionandreports directly to thePublicBidTeam Manager.

     

    _Preferred_** **_Location_

     

    This is a remote, home-office based role and candidates located in theEastern time zone of thecontinental United States will be considered.

    _Travel Requirements_

    Expected travel is5%forthis role.

    _Essential Functions_

    + Operate in a designated territory characterized by lower population density, smaller Metropolitan Statistical Areas, and medium construction activity and complexity

    + Process incoming bid opportunities and electronic feeds delivered via automationtoinclude searching, matching, updating, and creating new bidding reports with accuracy and timeliness

    + Conduct manual research by checking General Contractorwebsites for bid opportunities that cannot be captured through automated scraping tools

    + Performcheckactivities by making outbound phone calls or sending emails to project contacts to confirm bid dates/times, obtain planholders lists, and collect bid results

    + Manage plan acquisition for private and Construction Manager bid projects within the assigned reporting territory, ensuring comprehensive data coverage

    + Monitor regional mailboxes and process incoming emails related to creating or updating project records in the platform

    + Resolve customer inquiries related to bid content, maintaining a high standard of responsiveness and professionalism

    + Maintain a timely and up-to-date reporting portfolio by completing assigned project tasks and meeting all reporting deadlines

    + Serve as a backup for team members to ensure continuity of reporting duties during absences and support overall team performance

    + Ensure accurate, comprehensive, and timely data entry for all assigned projects, using this information to create or update Dodge Reports in the platform

    + Maintain accountability for performance metrics by consistently achieving accuracy, punctuality, and thoroughness in data collection and reporting activities

    _Education Requirement_

    High School Diploma or GED.

    _Required_** **_Experience_** **_, Knowledge_** **_and Skills_

    + 18 months of outbound call experience

    + 1+ years of experience in the construction industry; equivalent customer service experience may substitute

    + Data entry experience

    + Online research experience

    + Proficient in all Microsoft areas

    + Exceptional attention to detail

    + Excellent written and verbal communication

    + Excellent reading comprehension

    + Excellent internet research skills

    + Able to work effectively in an independent, remote environment

    + Comfortable working in a fast-paced role/production driven environment

    + Strong typing skills

    + Critical thinker and problem solver

    + Ability and desire to work in a collaborative environment with people from other cultures

    + Ability and desire to work independently and be accountable for the same

    _Salary Disclosure_

    _Hourl_ _y range: $_ _18.51-$23.08_

     

    This represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Final offers may vary from the amount listed based on factors including geography, candidate experience and expertise, and otherjob-relatedfactors.Dodge Construction Network’scompensation and rewards package for full time roles includes a market competitive salary,comprehensive benefits, and, for applicable roles,uncappedcommissions plans or an annual discretionary performance bonus.
