Job Title: Senior IT Auditor / Senior Auditor

Type: Direct Hire

Compensation: $84000 - $126000 annually (with bonus)

Contractor Work Model: Onsite

We are seeking a Senior IT Auditor to join a corporate internal audit team. The ideal candidate is a well-rounded, highly motivated, and experienced individual who can perform a range of assignments in the following areas: Information Technology (IT), Operations, and Finance.

This is a full-time - direct hire, onsite position located in Salisbury, MD. Relocation assistance is available!

Senior Auditor Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

+ Perform compliance testing of the Company’s SOX/internal controls program, including planning, executing, and drawing conclusions on the design and operational effectiveness of Automated and IT General Controls.

+ Deliver actionable recommendations and offer guidance to improve processes that effectively remediate internal control deficiencies.

+ Develop audit work programs and enhance existing programs to execute the scope and objectives of IT, operational, and financial audits.

+ Plan, execute, and report results of consulting and assurance engagements, including reviewing results and recommendations with management, obtaining management responses, and following up on remediation efforts where necessary.

+ Complete special projects and other reporting duties as assigned.

Senior Auditor Minimum Education and Experience Required

+ Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Senior Auditor Experience Requirements

+ 3-5 years in an Information Systems, Accounting, and/or Auditing role

Senior Auditor Experience Preferred

+ Strong written and oral communication

+ Previous SOX controls testing

+ Familiarity with business process redesign (BPR) efforts, including the assessment of resulting control impacts

+ Knowledge of SAP and other ERP systems

+ Understanding of the integration points between IT and business processes

+ Prior exposure to the food or manufacturing industry

+ CISA, CPA, and/or CIA certification
