    Ultimate LLC is immediately hiring **Excavating Foremen** for commercial projects in the **Hampstead, MD** area. The salary range is **$75,000 – $85,000** per year based on experience. All foreman are scheduled **40+ hours a week** . We are looking for skilled craftsmen to add to our team of dedicated, safe, productive, and proven craftsmen.

    Ultimate Job Duties

    + Plan, manage, and evaluate the work of the excavation crew

    + Interpret plans and drawings for grading and site preparation

    + Oversee material ordering, delivery scheduling, and usage

    + Lead grading operations for construction prep and stormwater management

    + Monitor project progress and adjust work plans to meet deadlines

    + Complete and submit daily work logs including crew hours and equipment usage

    + Operate heavy equipment and supervise its use on-site

    + Document job progress and any extra work required

    + Communicate clearly with crew members, subcontractors, and project management

    + Track labor, equipment, and material costs to support budget management

    + Promote and enforce safety protocols

    + Manage multiple site activities and work extended hours as needed

    Trade Requirements

    + 8 years of experience in excavating, utility, or related field (4 years as an operator)

    + MDE Erosion and Sediment Control Certification (preferred)

    + Adult CPR and First Aid Certification (preferred)

    + Strong leadership and communication skills

    + Ability to read and verify specifications and grade plans

    + Appropriate PPE (Hard hat, vest, steel toe boots)

    + Ability to perform regular standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting of up to 50 lbs; up to 100 lbs with assistance

    + Ability to work in all weather conditions and noisy, high-traffic environments
