    Our client is currently seeking a qualified **Data Analyst** **Engineer** to join their team for a **remote** position. The Engineer provides critical planning, analysis, and engineering to support key business processes, including reporting and third-party data integrations. The Engineer is vital to the client's application and its integration. Ensuring data security, availability, scalability, and accuracy is crucial, followed by efficient delivery. Key responsibilities include understanding data types, application workflows, and the supporting decisions backend.

    Duties and Responsibilities** **:

    + Third Party Data Management

    + Develop, enhance, and maintain pipelines for third-party data to be used within the client application

    + Coordinate with product management and third-party vendors regarding data scope and validation requirements

    + Analyze third-party data sources and make recommendations for additional data utilization through integration into commercial application or reporting

    + Provide backup to other engineers who support ongoing data pipelines

    + Management information reporting

    + Develop necessary data repositories and underlying queries to support Power BI reporting following the company’s data security policies

    + Develop reports and visualizations for use in Power BI by team members

    + Develop reports and visualizations to be deployed within commercial applications

    + Support BI reporting for users

    + Operational Support

    + Assist with financial institution pipelines, including initial validation, transaction code mapping, and historical data

    + Backup for SAR QC

    + Support the client team in those instances where they are leveraging third-party data housed in Snowflake or SQL

    **Wage Range** :

     

    The rate for this position is between **$80,000 - $90,000 annually.** Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
