Job Posting: 2nd Shift School Custodian - Floater

Start Date:September 2025

Rate of Pay:$22.36/hour

Hours:8 hours/day – 2nd Shift

Required Qualifications:

+ High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent

+ Valid driver’s license

+ Pool certification in buildings where pools are located

+ Must be able to pass pre-employment physical

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

+ Knowledge of custodial supplies and cleaning methods and techniques

+ Ability to follow all health and safety regulations

+ Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities

+ Effective written and verbal communication to respond to staff, students, and guests

+ Able to maintain a sanitary, safe, and attractive environment

+ Ability to work independently in the absence of direct supervision

+ Friendly, courteous, patient, and adaptable demeanor

+ Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills

+ Flexibility to meet the daily needs of the school building

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Successful custodial experience in a school setting
